S-trains and regional trains

Trains go to Østerport station which is approx. 5 minutes walk from Toldboden. Bus no. 26 runs along Folke Bernadottes Allé. Danish Centre for Leadership has 90 free parking spaces. Use this map to get an overview of Copenhagen.

A little history

The original Toldbod was built for the opening of Frihavnen in 1894. The building has been designed by E. Schiødte and was renovated in 1995 and modernised to the look it has today.
The complex form of Toldboden has been maintained, and on your trip round Toldboden you will see arrangements and details providing you with a historic insight into the old custom house.
